Like many young people that come to the club I started volunteering at the junior club, and then became a member of staff at the age of eighteen. I went on to complete my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Youth Work and I have completed an NVQ Level 3 in Management (Technical Certificate).

I used to come to the club during the junior sessions as a young person. A couple of years ago I got offered the opportunity to work Friday nights during the junior sessions, which I happily agreed to.

Health and Wellbeing Apprentice
Ellis is the newest member of our team, having joined us in September 2021. Ellis will be completing a level 3 in Community, Health and wellbeing.
During this role Ellis will be working alongside all members of our team, supporting within our youth club, community services and food bank. Ellis will also be working alongside Leicester City in the Communities Kicks project once a week.

I have been working at the club for the past 17 years since completing a BA Hons in Youth and Community Development at De Montfort University. I have seen many changes in my time here as a manager and currently the club is at its most successful.
