I have been working at the club for almost 20 years since completing a BA Hons in Youth and Community Development at De Montfort University. I have seen many changes in my time here as a manager and currently the club is at its most successful.
Thanks to the Big Lottery, we have been able to totally renovate our club and are now open every evening for junior, inclusion and senior age groups. As well as this, over the last couple of years we have developed a real community focus, and have developed great links with local residents.
I am responsible for the development and management of the centre, and am one of the centre’s Designated Safeguarding Leads.
Louise received a British Empire Medal (BEM) for services to young people and the local community in the Queens Birthday Honours list 2022.
