Youth Worker
I have been working with young people for the past 11 years, and within that time I have completed my BA Honors in youth and community with the JNC. I am a youth worker and my role includes; Running a range of activities during our sessions, supervising the young people and working with them, in order for them to thrive and become creative in an informal setting.
I work a range of sessions throughout the week, feel free to come on down and see us at the centre.

Youth Worker
I have been at the club for over 6 years now, i started off as a volunteer helping out in the junior and inclusion sessions. Last year I got the opportunity to become a youth worker in one of the junior sessions. Youth work is something I have always been passionate about and the Centre has aided me in securing a place at DMU, studying BSc Paramedicine this year.

Like many young people that come to the club I started volunteering at the junior club, and then became a member of staff at the age of eighteen. I went on to complete my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Youth Work and I have completed an NVQ Level 3 in Management (Technical Certificate).

I used to come to the club during the junior sessions as a young person. A couple of years ago I got offered the opportunity to work Friday nights during the junior sessions, which I happily agreed to.

Community Development Coordinator
I have been at the club for almost 6 years now, i started off as a volunteer and quickly progressed on to be one of the clubs first Apprentices. After completing my level 2 apprenticeship, I became the Centre’s Youth Development officer.
